Dude, just make a l’il change in the way you open the cmd.
Click on start button, then in the search box, type ‘cmd’ without quotes. When the cmd option appears, right click on it and select ‘run as administrator’. This’ll fix the problem

though you are using the administrator account you still need to run it as administrator..
go to accessories > right click command prompt > select run as administrator
I have been ignoring the message “this copy of windows is not genuine” for weeks and weeks. i also had to put up with a blackened background. i tried this trick, and sure enough, it worked great and was extremely easy to do. Thank you very much!!
first i went to Run>typed in CMD> and wrote ”SLMGR -REARM”.
Then i got the answer ”Error:0xc004f025 Access denied: The requested action requires elevated privileges”
after that i runned CMD as administrator> wrote ”SLMGR -REARM” and it worked perfectly
after that i ran cmd*

It worked great but now has reverted back to telling me that I need to validate my windows in the next 20 something days. When my time has expired again can I reuse this trick to keep extending my trial time? I really appreciate the tip and it is nice to not have the black screen but I am curious if there is a more permanent solution. Thanks again for your help!
